His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam, left Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 3rd June afternoon.
Present at the Grand Hyatt Hotel to bid farewell to His Majesty and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri were Yang Amat Berhormat Dato' Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia and spouse, Dato' Seri Dr. Wan Azizah Wan Ismail. Prior to departure, Doa Selamat was recited by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Doctor Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti.
Present at Subang Air Base to bid farewell was His Highness Tunku Idris Iskandar Alhaj ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Tunku Temenggong of Johor. Also present were Yang Berhormat Datuk Fahmi Fadzil, Minister of Communication, Malaysia; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd. Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd. Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs; Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohammed Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohammed Yunos, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office; and His Excellency Retired Brigadier General Dato Paduka Haji Mahmud bin Haji Saidin, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Malaysia and spouse; as well as personnel from the Brunei Darussalam High Commission in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
